Also, to incubate budding entrepreneurs SoGal is also conducting a 3-day immersive educational bootcamp in Silicon Valley.
At each regional competition, the capabilities of the startups are analyzed by an all-star panel of investors who are committed to encouraging budding ideas. From each regional competition, finalists are nominated. In the final global competition, the finalists are provided with one-on-one meetings with top venture capitalists in Silicon Valley, curated educational programming, unparalleled 1:1 mentorship, press exposure, and a chance to win investment capital.
Over half a million dollars (and counting) investment has already been allocated to the final competition from our friends at SoGal Ventures and Draper U.
In such a prestigious competition, the Clocr’s CoFounder, Apoorva Chintala did a remarkable job in delivering her vision and won the IamSoGal competition in Salt Lake City, Utah. Apoorva Chintala is a sophomore at McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas-Austin.
It’s a proud moment for Clocr’s for its humble feat at the competition SoGal at Utah and winning an opportunity to participate in the Global Pitching competition in February 2020 in San Francisco.
Though this achievement or winning means a lot for our humble start of addressing a societal cause with a technology solution. But compared to this winning, we the Clocr family feel very privileged when people alluded Clocr’s mission of “No Family Should be Left Agonized”. This really skyrocketed our confidence and passion to deliver the best.
